The Energy of an Unstable Foundation Why Anything Built on Another's Loss Carries the Frequency of Imbalance.. By Raquel Mckenzie

The Ripple Effect of What Is Taken

In the esoteric understanding of cause and effect, nothing exists in isolation. Every thought, action, intention, and choice sends a vibration into the field of existence. Like a stone cast into still water, the ripple travels far beyond the point of impact.

Anything gained through another person's pain carries the energetic imprint of that pain. It may appear successful on the surface. It may appear permanent. It may even seem as though no consequence will ever arrive. Yet beneath the visible world, an imbalance has been created, and all imbalance seeks restoration.

This is not about punishment. It is about equilibrium.

When a person knowingly causes harm, takes what does not belong to them, destroys another's peace, or builds their happiness upon another's suffering, they create a distortion within their own energetic field. The universe naturally moves toward balance, just as nature restores itself after a storm.

The ripple does not always return in the form people expect.

Sometimes it appears through broken relationships. Sometimes through opportunities that mysteriously collapse. Sometimes through constant conflict, disappointment, or emotional unrest. Sometimes it manifests as an inability to find genuine peace, even when every external desire has been obtained.

And if the distortion remains unresolved, it often spreads into the environment surrounding the individual.

A person's energy does not stop at the edge of their body. It influences the atmosphere they create. It affects their relationships, their home, their friendships, and the people closest to them. Children learn from the emotional climate around them. Family members absorb tension, resentment, and unresolved wounds. Generational patterns often emerge because what is not healed is unconsciously repeated.

The ripple continues until awareness interrupts the cycle.

This is why bitterness, anger, and hatred are among the heaviest burdens a person can carry.

When someone remains consumed by resentment toward another person long after the event has passed, they unknowingly bind themselves to the very thing they claim to despise. Their thoughts return to it. Their emotions return to it. Their energy returns to it. The object of their hatred occupies space within their mind and spirit.

Over time, relentless hostility can reveal more than anger. It can expose unresolved insecurity, comparison, intimidation, jealousy, or a deep discomfort with qualities reflected by the other person.

The soul recognizes what the ego often refuses to acknowledge.

Sometimes people attack in others what they secretly wish they possessed. Sometimes they condemn qualities they feel incapable of embodying. Sometimes they attempt to diminish another person's light because they have not yet learned how to cultivate their own.

The shadow does not disappear by attacking the light.

The shadow is transformed only through self-examination.

A person who is truly at peace has little interest in obsessing over another person's downfall. They are too occupied building their own life, healing their own wounds, and cultivating their own growth.

The deeper spiritual lesson is simple: what we send into the world eventually becomes part of the world we live in.

Hatred creates an atmosphere of hatred.

Resentment creates an atmosphere of resentment.

Peace creates an atmosphere of peace.

Compassion creates an atmosphere of compassion.

The universe is constantly reflecting our inner state back to us.

What is built through integrity tends to generate stability. What is built through deception tends to generate instability. What is built through love tends to generate expansion. What is built through suffering often carries the seeds of suffering within it.

The law of balance is not concerned with revenge. It is concerned with restoration.

Sooner or later, every ripple reaches the shore from which it began.
